We are looking to recruit a Vet Surgeon to join the team at a first opinion small animal practice in the stunning Lake District area of Cumbria.
Excellent full-time permanent opportunity with out-of-hours rota and weekends on a 1 in 4 basis. Established and successful practice with great facilities and equipment including digital x-ray (standard and dental), ultrasound, video-endoscope, and in-house laboratory with biochemistry and haematology machines. Varied surgical and medical caseload and high percentage of insured clients. Ideally, you will already have good experience and be confident in sole charge consulting and routine operations. Role offers good development opportunity. Further study to certificate level is encouraged and funded. CPD funding and RCVS fees paid. Friendly, supportive, and experienced Vet team with two vets working towards certificates currently. Sought after location in the stunning Lake District region and national park in Cumbria in northwest England.
What You Need To Apply
Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent. Registered with the RCVS. Confident in sole charge consulting and routine operations.
What You Will Receive
Salary to £65,000.00 per annum (subject to experience). Extra pay for OOH work. Generous CPD and study to certificate level supported. Paid holidays, pension, paid professional membership fees, etc.
