Washington and South County Veterinary Hospital are looking for a full-time veterinary assistant to join our team! A positive, team player attitude, with excellent communication skills, is a must. The ideal candidate will be comfortable properly handling and restraining animals, understands the importance of client education, have knowledge of in-clinic laboratory equipment, is able to collect samples, feels comfortable working with other technicians and veterinarians, takes pride in a clean and organized animal hospital, and is a positive and supportive team player. Job Requirements / Responsibilities

At least one year of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant preferred Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare Experience with proper animal handling and restraint Passion for working with animals and their owners Works well as part of a team Excellent communication and organizational skills Pay Range: $16.00-20.00 based on experience At AmeriVet, your well-being, your loved ones, and your future are our top priorities.
