Veterinary Surgeon – MEDICINE BIAS 6-month contract based at our busy Chichester Hospital from May 2025 (potential to remain permanently following this). Feel the difference As a veterinary surgeon with an interest in internal medicine, you will be based at our state-of-the-art hospital in Chichester where we work collaboratively with our night team, South Downs Emergency Vets, to deliver exceptional, personalised care to our patients 24/7, and also with our referral team, South Downs Veterinary Referrals to support referral level cases for Advanced Practitioners. About you You’ll be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) with significant experience in veterinary internal medicine. It would be advantageous if you have Advanced Practitioner status or are a certificate holder or working towards one. Rota 4-day week, 10 hour working shifts (various shift times between 7.30am-7.30pm), totalling 40 hours. 1 hour lunch break. Equal rota (1 in 6) for emergencies over weekends and bank holidays. 2 days off in lieu of any weekends worked. We may consider part-time applicants for this role and have an open-minded approach to flexible working requests. Salary £45,000 to £65,000+ pa depending on level of experience/certificates/AP status. Job Type: Fixed term contract. Contract length: 6 months. Pay: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year.
