We have a wonderful opportunity here at Purovets for a Veterinary Surgeon at a new independent practice in the beautiful county of Cheshire. Famous for its production of cheese, salt and silk and known for its rural villages of half-timber and local red sandstone buildings, Cheshire is a beautiful part of the world. With excellent transport links to the nearby large cities of Liverpool and Manchester, it is also an ideal place to work for those who like to commute.

Opened in September 2021, our client has grown to such an extent that they are seeking a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and experienced team comprising of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 1 HVN, 1 RVN, 1 SVN, 2 ACA's and 1 receptionist.

This modern practice has been designed and equipped to a high specification with a large, bright spacious waiting area, roomy consult rooms and air conditioning and ventilation throughout the clinic. The practice is well facilitated with up-to-date technology including ultrasound, digital x-ray, an in-house laboratory, operating theatre and separate cat and dog kennelling. Additionally there is a spacious garden with seating and plenty of on-site parking.

The successful candidate will need to be confident in their own abilities and be a good team player. You will also need to have a genuine empathy in animal care. A passionate work ethic will be rewarded financially and will open tremendous opportunities for personal and professional growth.

The Rota: • Full time - 4 day week • 1:3 Saturday mornings (9am - 12pm) • No OOH or on call • Part time applications welcome

The Benefits: • Excellent salary of £50,000 - £70,000 DOE • CPD allowance of £2000 and 5 days per year • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays • Private Health Insurance • RCVS and VDS fees paid • 1 other subscription of your choice • Employee referral bonus scheme
