Do you want to work within a modern, forward thinking, dynamic and evolving small animal Hospital? With friendly, supportive, and motivated colleagues? Our client is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their specifically trained equine, exotic and small animal vets in the beautiful county of Norfolk. The Hospital is well established in the area, with Diss market town nearby; you can hop onto a direct train into London or direct to the vibrant, historic city of Norwich. Living and working in the Norfolk area gives you easy access to stunning country walks, long bike rides and, with the coast only 1 hour away, relaxing days by the sea. Stansted Airport is 1 hour away.

You will be joining an experienced and friendly team comprising of 11 Veterinary Surgeons across 2 branches, supported by a team of Veterinary nurses, trainee Veterinary nurses, animal care assistants, reception staff and administrative staff. Our client is dedicated to providing the best quality of care to its patients with up-to-date technology you would expect in a modern hospital including separate feline, canine and exotic hospital, 2 theatres, Dental suite, Digital X-Rays, Endoscope, Ultrasound with probe, In house Lab and Tonometer.

They are looking for a good team player with a good level of GP competence and routine small animal surgical, emergency and medical skills. Accommodation and transportation maybe available for the first few months. We are currently unable to support a new grad so 1 year+ UK experience please.

The Rota: •

Full time - 39 hours per week (can be flexible) •

20 minute appointments •

No OOH's •

1:4 Saturday morning consults 8.30-12pm

The Candidate: To thrive in this position, you will need to have great communication skills and a fun loving, outgoing demeanour. You will need be confident in conducting all routine surgery and consultations in addition to handling and working up more complex cases.
