Purovets is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving multi-vet practice in a charming Cambridgeshire village. Our client, an RCVS accredited small animal practice, is seeking a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to become a valued member of their dedicated team.

Nestled in a picturesque village surrounded by stunning countryside, this practice is part of a friendly and active community just 2 miles south of Huntingdon Town and 16 miles west of Cambridge. With direct rail links from Huntingdon to London in under an hour, you'll enjoy the perfect blend of rural charm and city convenience.

Our client boasts a well-established presence in the area, with a loyal and friendly client base and a varied caseload. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital x-rays, dental equipment, ultrasound, a multiparametric monitor, and an in-house laboratory. They also have access to a CT scanner and MRI, ensuring comprehensive care for their patients.

You will join a wonderful team consisting of one Lead Veterinary Surgeon, one Registered Veterinary Nurse, three Student Veterinary Nurses, and a supportive and dedicated support team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with sole charge responsibilities approximately two days per week and experienced in routine surgery. Experience with ultrasonography is a plus. RCVS registration and a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient and client care are essential. Strong clinical leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are also required.

The Rota: •

Full time role - 4 day week •

Practice hours: 8.30am to 6.30pm •

No OOH or weekends •
