Purovets are working with a well-known independent practice in northeast Lincolnshire who are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their passionate and experienced team. If you are in limbo, your current job role is getting a bit stale and you feel like it is time for a change, then look no further!

The practice has been providing high-quality care for over 60 years. Their qualified and helpful staff offer the highest standards of veterinary care in a welcoming and caring environment. All staff regularly attend courses to keep updated on advanced technology, and they are constantly improving techniques and medications; this is evident as they have an extremely loyal client base!

Ideally you will have 2+ years' experience, be comfortable with limited sole charge and be confident in routine operations and procedures. You will be working with a friendly and experienced team of four vets and seven nurses, and the facilities include two operating theatres, digital x-ray and a brand-new in-house laboratory kit. The practice aims to continue its high level of pet healthcare in the community, therefore the need for continued education is of paramount importance. You will have a £1,000 annual CPD allowance to which the practice is open to negotiation and flexibility, and there will be extensive in-house learning and development opportunities provided by the experience team.

You will be working in Grimsby, a port town in northeast Lincolnshire that sits on the Humber Estuary. Historically known for its fishing industry, it now boasts diverse maritime activities and its vibrant community thrives amidst its industrial and cultural significance. With its strategic location on the Humber Estuary, the town enjoys access to major roadways like the A180 and A16, allowing it for easy regional travel. Additionally, its railway station provides connections to destinations across the UK, enhancing mobility for residents and visitors alike.

Role: Salary up to £60,000 DOE 4 or 5 day week, 9am - 6pm Flexible rota options 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 9:30am - 12pm with TOIL 1 on-call night a week
