An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join a well-established RCVS-accredited small animal and equine practice in a picturesque market town in Essex. This purpose-built facility offers an ideal environment for both pets and equines, ensuring the highest standard of care.
Located in a charming market town, the area combines historical appeal with modern conveniences, offering a vibrant array of shops, restaurants, and scenic walks. The town also provides a family-friendly atmosphere, complete with green spaces and community activities.
You will become part of an experienced 4-vet team, all of whom have been with the practice for many years. They are supported by 6 RVNs, 2 Kennel Assistants, and a dedicated reception team. The practice takes pride in its supportive and collaborative approach, where each team member's strengths are recognised and utilised. There is ample opportunity for professional growth and to pursue areas of particular interest, supported by a team with a wealth of knowledge.
Your role will involve a balanced mix of consultations and surgeries, with flexibility to accommodate any specific interests. The practice is well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including an in-house laboratory, allowing you to offer a wide range of services to clients and their pets.

The Rota: •
Full time role - 40 hour week over 4 days •
1:5 Saturday morning rota •
