Veterinary Surgeon - Worcestershire

Salary up to £75,000 DOE Up to £5,000 relocation package Rota flexibility - full-time and part-time applications welcome 6.6 weeks annual leave inclusive of bank holidays

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon with a bias towards surgery to join the caring and supportive team at an RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital in Worcestershire. The role includes all aspects of general first opinion practice including consultations, surgical and medical cases. I am looking for a vet surgeon with a passion for general practice and surgery. Certificates are actively encouraged with training and funding available from the team of experienced veterinary surgeons including certificate holders.

We understand life is about more than just work, so whether you prefer a fixed rota or something more flexible, we are here to create the perfect solution just for you. If you opt for full time, you will work 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days including 1:4 Saturday morning consults 8:30am - 1pm. There is also a 1:4 on-call rota to cover inpatients, however there are minimum call out requirements. Out-of-hours are covered by Vets Now.

You will be working with a fantastic supportive team of 9 vets including a certificate holder, 10 RVN's and a highly-experienced support team. They actively encourage case continuity and collaboration is welcomed within their supportive team. If you are looking for an environment where you can thrive through learning and development, support and team work, then this is the place for you. They are a VN training centre, ISFM cat friendly clinic (gold award) and RWAF clinic (silver award). You will be working with all the usual up-to-date equipment: digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and Idexx analysers and are visited weekly by a diagnostic imaging specialist. They have a varied caseload, including charity work.

The practice is based in the growing market town of Evesham. Beyond its historical and agricultural significance, Evesham maintains a vibrant community spirit. The town centre, with its mix of independent shops, quaint cafes and inviting pubs, fosters a welcoming atmosphere. Surrounded by the scenic Worcestershire countryside, Evesham appeals to outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. The town enjoys good road connectivity, primarily due to the proximity of the A46 and the A44 roads. The A46 connects Evesham to larger cities like Coventry and Warwick to the north, as well as Tewkesbury and Gloucester to the south. Meanwhile, the A44 provides routes towards Worcester and Oxford. The rail station provides direct train connections to key destinations like Worcester, Oxford, Hereford and London, making Evesham a great location for commuters.
