Our client is opening a cutting-edge small animal practice in the vibrant market town of Kidderminster, Worcestershire. This popular location offers the charm of a close-knit community, excellent transport links, a variety of amenities, and easy access to the stunning Worcestershire countryside.

They are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is eager to advance their career and is passionate about driving performance and enhancing client experience. As an integral part of the start-up team, you will play a key role in launching this purpose-built, high-quality practice, set to open in November 2024. You will be a strategic thinker with a strong work ethic, dedicated to working collaboratively to implement the frameworks needed to achieve the practice's business goals. Your clinical expertise, positive mindset, and commitment to excellence will help foster a culture of success and high standards.

The ideal candidate will be confident in both general surgery and medicine, with the reassurance of support from the Clinical Director when needed. The practice's impressive 4,000 square foot facility includes separate cat and dog waiting areas and wards, isolation facilities, six consulting rooms, a bereavement room, two theatres, a dental suite, an imaging room, and an associate rest room. It will be fully equipped with the latest in-house diagnostic and surgical technology. Your role will be an exciting and varied one. You will have a mixture of in-patient care, surgery, and consultations each day and you will have the opportunity for case continuity and to build great rapport with the clients.

This is a full-time role for 4 days and 40 hours a week between 8:30am and 7:30pm, but part-time applications are welcome and they can be flexible with the rota to match your preferences and requirements. Initially, you will work 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, and this will reduce to 1 in 3 full Saturdays once the practice is fully up and running. There will be no OOHs whatsoever!
