Veterinary Surgeon - Leicestershire

Veterinary Surgeon role at a small animal practice in a lovely market town in Leicestershire •

Recently refurbished practice with excellent onsite facilities including digital radiography, dental radiography, multiparameter anaesthetic monitors, endoscopy and bronchoscopy and more •

Fantastic salary up to £55,000 DOE •

Generous benefits package including a paid sabbatical and a life assurance policy

An amazing opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join an award-winning small animal practice in the picturesque county of Leicestershire. Located in a pleasant market town surrounded by beautiful countryside in southwest Leicestershire, this town offers a charming blend of rural beauty and urban convenience. It is situated between Leicester and Coventry, with fantastic commuter routes to major motorway networks. Birmingham Airport is conveniently located just 40 minutes away from the practice. The town centre boasts an excellent variety of shops, independent cafes, restaurants, bars, and nightlife.

Our client has been established in the area for many years and has recently undergone a renovation, modernising and enhancing its facilities. They are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis.

This well-equipped practice features digital radiography, dental radiography, multiparameter anaesthetic monitors, endoscopy and bronchoscopy, ultrasound, tonometry, a well-equipped in-house lab, and piped oxygen among other facilities. In 2017, the practice became an ISFM accredited Cat Friendly Clinic, providing a separate cat waiting area as well as separate cat and dog wards, plus an isolation facility.

You will be joining an enthusiastic and hardworking team of veterinary professionals, including a nursing team comprising a Head Nurse, two RVNs, and one PCA, as well as a wonderful client support team.

To be successful in this role, you must be RCVS registered and have experience working effectively as part of a team. Demonstrating clinical leadership skills and experience in supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency, is essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a modernised small animal practice in the heart of Leicestershire.
