Our wonderful small animal practice in Leigh-on-Sea is currently looking for an enthusiastic and professional full time Veterinary Surgeon to join the team!

By joining us you will be part of a team consisting of 4 full time veterinary surgeons, dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care. As this role plays a key part within a very friendly team, the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible.

The practice offers excellent facilities and equipment including digital X-ray, cardiopet, tonovet, a superb ultrasound suite (which can do Doppler), 4 consulting rooms, piped gas and separate dog and cat wards! We also have access to a CT scanner for internal referrals at a neighbouring practice.

Leigh-on-Sea is a beautiful seaside location just 45 minutes from London by train or car. It is only 10 minutes from the airport and voted as one of the best locations to live in UK. Close to Leigh-on-Sea town centre with coffee shops and bars and within just a few minutes walk from the beach.

Ideally, you will have at least 2 year’s experience and possess good medical and surgical capability as well as holding good diagnostic skills. Good interpersonal skills are also essential for this position.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week max. We are open Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 7:00 pm) and will include 1 in 4 Saturday’s on a rota basis (9:00 am to 3:00 pm). There will be no OOH! And we are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays, ensuring an excellent work/life balance!
