About The Role Outstanding, progressive, welcoming and first-class GP team at Mayow Veterinary Surgery are recruiting! Due to relocation by one of our immense team, we are seeking a veterinary surgeon to join us who will help us continue our independent stance on working together and outstanding professional care. From the previous winners of London’s Best Vet, our team have benefited from many additional toys within the clinic and stand firm that we remain the most elite primary care team in South London. Our current crew have high level general practice interests and are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of outside of the ordinary in their professional reputation. We are home to some of the finest GP Vets in London and would welcome a vet with a medicine or imaging bias to increase our already vast offering of services. We will consider a keen first opinion vet as team spirit, client care and patient focus are equally as important as a desire to spend the day scanning or working up the inpatients. The clinic has everything a branch in this popular area of London would bring by way of 2 theatres, in house lab, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, top of the range ultrasound together with many other random expensive toys we have persuaded our facilities manager to invest in! Investment into our clinic is a priority by way of our vet team CPD, equipment, adaptable consulting sessions, shorter working weeks – this really is a team who look after each other. This role isn’t for the faint hearted. We want to bond for a long time! We encourage our vets to be real vets. We want you to progress, become involved in building your clinical reputation and join us in celebrating being the continuously awarded Best Vets in London. We applaud you taking care for pets as far as your skills and those of your colleagues allow. Do not let equipment needs stop you in your career! You want it? We’ll buy it – and that’s not a corporate promise. Our independence allows us to think on our feet, move and support our vet team quickly to ensure your days are rewarding and valued. This position offers a 4 day week, working 2 days in a magnificent team, and 2 days sole charge at our lovely Parish Lane practice just down the road. A relaxed weekend rota of 1:4, with time off in lieu for weekends worked. If you’d like to know more, please contact our People Director and her team for an informal conversation. Our Senior Clinical Team have over 100 years between them of supporting the very best vets in the business – our huge success isn’t luck, it’s proven results.
