We are excited to announce a superb opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in New Ferry, Wirral. The role comes with a supportive team and a Lead Vet. As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will have access to the latest facilities and a varied caseload which includes laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgical cases. You will be expected to work alongside other experienced Vets, sharing knowledge and experience, with case discussions encouraged. We are looking for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon who has the drive to deliver an outstanding level of care to patients, along with first-class service to clients. The role is full-time, and you will be required to work 39 hours per week over four days. The successful candidate will receive a salary package of up to £55,000 dependent on experience, including accommodation or vehicle allowance. You will have access to a CPD allowance of £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave, and all VDS, RCVS, and BVA fees will be paid. The practice also offers 5 weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays. We also offer enhanced maternity and paternity pay, as well as a Certificate of Sponsorship, Tier 2 (general visa), and a relocation package for both UK and overseas candidates. You will have the opportunity to work with a small animal practice, which boasts a varied caseload, including the latest facilities such as diploma level imaging and in-house surgical referral for more complex cases. You will have the opportunity to be part of a great team, both in the practice and the other practices in the region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience, excellent communication skills, and a client-oriented approach. You will work to a high standard, both medically and surgically, and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. You will receive support from a buddy, as well as from a community of vets in the region and regional management team.
