We aim to increase and diversify our SA business and are looking for talented and enthusiastic vets to bring energy and warmth to our practice.
We are open to taking new graduates or experienced vets. Your character is more important to us, as we are like a family and love to share a laugh and a bit of banter over some tea and cake during break times. The Practice
Newry Vet Centre is a long-established mixed animal practice with a warm and friendly team and a loyal client base. We are currently a 4-vet, 4-nurse practice but are looking to grow the team. Newry is a diverse and bustling city, and NVC sits in the heart of it, with great access to food, nightlife, gyms, and shopping. If you are not familiar with Newry, we are equidistant to Belfast and Dublin, making it a great location to live, nestled in the heart of South Down, with the Mourne Mountains not far away.
The Role
We are looking for multiple vets: one mixed vet who will be predominantly LA and will need to be on a 1-in-4 rota for out-of-hours, and two or three vets to be SA only. We can be flexible with contracts, so if you are interested in PT hours, we can accommodate you. We are open to new grad vets and experienced ones.
The Package Salary of £35,000 to £55,000 depending on experience. All annual registrations paid, CPD allowance, 6.6 weeks holiday per year (including Bank Holidays), a vehicle is available for mixed vets, and accommodation is available if needed, even if just initially while you settle in.
