Are you an enthusiastic Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon ready to join a new team?

Purovets are working with a friendly RCVS-accredited hospital who are dedicated to working to a very high standard of patient care. They have a superb, spacious purpose-built hospital with 6 operating theatres and multiple consulting rooms, separate cat, dog and exotic wards, in house laboratory and digital x-ray.

They have a team of 11 vets who are supported by a team of over 20 qualified and experienced nurses. You will work a 4 day week (with the same day off each week) with an equally shared out of hours rota, which is currently 1 in 8 weekends and approximately 1 night per week. Caseload, equipment and support is in place for vets wanting to study for a certificate; they have an exotics diplomat and an experienced surgery certificate holder. This role would ideally suit a vet 1 - 4 years qualified, and they have an excellent level of staff retention and a long standing client base.

You will be working in Sileby, a picturesque village in Leicestershire, England. Located near the River Soar, it boasts a rich history dating back to the Domesday Book. The village features charming architecture, local pubs, a strong community spirit and a blend of rural tranquillity and modern amenities. It has access to convenient transport links, including a railway station with regular services to Leicester, Nottingham, and Loughborough. It is well-connected by local bus routes and has easy access to major roads such as the A6, facilitating smooth travel to surrounding areas and cities.

Role: Salary up to £60,000 DOE 4 days a week with a set day off 1 in 8 weekends 1 night on-call a week
