We are looking for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join our team at Abbey Vet Clinic on a permanent basis. The role would suit an experienced clinician who is ready to take on more responsibilities and help to develop the skills and knowledge of more recent graduates, as well as their own. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team. If you are looking to specialise, we can provide that opportunity, whether you would like to study for a certificate or offer specialist services or treatments. We have varied surgical and medical caseloads where you will have clinical freedom to follow your own cases with daily opportunities for operating. We work 40 hours over a 4/5 day week with Saturday mornings shared on an equal rota; however, we are open to flexible working or part-time hours for the right candidate. No OOH requirement. What you’ll be stepping into We have two well-established branches located in the picturesque towns of Arbroath and Forfar. Both branches are fully equipped with the latest veterinary tools, including iM3 dental machines, digital radiology, and IDEXX biochemistry and haematology equipment. Our team currently consists of 4 experienced vets and 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), who have taken a hands-on role, running their own clinics.
