Salary up to £80,000 DOE plus up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance
We are currently looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Churchfield Veterinary Centre in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week, but we can be flexible for a part-time role. The role would suit an organised, self-motivated progressive colleague with ideally a minimum of 2 years practice experience. The remit of the small animal department is general first opinion practice working up cases to a high level in orthopaedic, soft tissue, dental surgery and internal medicine investigations.
About Churchfield Veterinary Centre
We are a small animal practice in South Yorkshire with good access to motorways and the Peak District. Our small animal team includes 2 full-time veterinary surgeons, 2 mixed small animal and equine veterinary surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses including a Head Nurse and student veterinary nurse (the practice is a training centre), 3 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager.
Our small animal clinic is well equipped with digital radiography, colour doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, dentistry facilities and in-house laboratory. We also have a small animal branch surgery in the village of Skelmanthorpe which is a 25-minute drive from Barnsley. We have an exceptional client care policy, friendly staff and veterinary support.
