We have an excellent opportunity for a part time Veterinary Surgeon to join our team here at Alexander Vets. We are a well-established and popular small animal practice who work to the highest standards. We see various caseloads enabling you to split your time evenly between consults and operations with medical and clinical freedom to work up your cases as well as sole charge work. We see a fair amount of dental work as well as cases with patients with arthritis and hyperthyroidism enabling regular case work ups with our IDEXX lab station. We fully encourage and support you to pursue additional certificates, so if there is a certificate you have your eye on or even in the midst of – let us know and we will be happy to support! Our current requirement is for 20 hours per week working Monday and Tuesday 8:30am – 6:15pm however if you are looking for more or less hours, we would still like to hear from you. The role will include consultations and operations daily, with no OOH. We recently benefitted from a practice refurbishment, so we are modern and well-equipped. Our practice boasts x-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy and in house blood facilities. You will join a team of 2 vets with a wealth of clinical experience, 3 RVN's, 1 SVN, 2 Receptionists our Practice Manager and Practice Director. We also work very closely with our sister site so there is a great support network in place with lots of opportunity to learn. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a vet looking to work within a close knit team, to lead with high quality patient care with the support of our superb nursing team who are always on hand. We have a laser machine on site, doppler ultrasound, multiparameter monitor and IM3 dental x-ray machine. Because our employees matter
