We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic practice at Fareham. The role will be a mixture of consults and surgeries, and the team here will do everything possible to help you settle in and enjoy working with our wonderful clients and their pets. Your future begins here
Portchester Vets sits in a wonderful location on the South Coast, with access to beaches, forests, hills, and lovely cities nearby. There is a wealth of options for fun outside of work on the South Coast, including the New Forest, historic towns such as Winchester and Chichester, and quick trips into London. Our staff have a wide range of hobbies including sailing, paddle boarding, and horse riding, and have regular meet-ups outside of work. Come and join our friendly and supportive team!
We have a team of 3 vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and a wonderful support staff who look after our community of pets in our modern practice. There is digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, Idexx lab, and more. A focus on gold standard vetting while ensuring work-life balance and team happiness is important to us. There are no OOH required, with a 3-4 day week and varying shift patterns to cover our opening from 8 am to 7 pm and 1-3 Saturday mornings from 9 am to 12 pm.
