We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic group Waverley Vets. This is a 100% small animal role, working across our Shortheath Farnham, Woodside Chiddingfold & Beacon Hill Hindhead. Sole charge at Woodside and Beacon Hill sites, with support as needed from main branches. The role involves consulting and operating in a friendly supportive environment. We strive to work up cases to a high standard and provide our clients with the best care. Your shift pattern entails 40 hours across 4/5 days per week working between 8:30 am-6:30 pm, with 1:4 on Saturday mornings. Who we are

Our team consists of 2 full-time vets and 2 part-time vets supported by a fabulous team of fully qualified nurses. We also have 2 trainee nurses, a VCA and a reception team. One of our vets is a GP certificate holder and another has a special interest in exotics. You can be certain any new members of staff will be made very welcome and given support as they settle into their new role. The team is made up of many long-standing vets and nurses and the environment is very friendly and supportive. We are a well-equipped surgery with great facilities including ultrasound, digital X-ray, K-Laser and Cyro, with a separate dental suite with a dental X-ray at Shortheath. The perfect fit

Ideally, the candidate needs to be confident with routine surgical procedures and basic ultrasounds and also have excellent communication and people skills and enjoy the variety and diversity of small animal practice. We require the candidate to have experience in small animal practice and be able to work up cases to provide a high standard of care.
