Salary up to £70,000 DOE plus Relocation Allowance up to £5,000
We are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, forward-thinking team at Biscot Mill Vet Centre in Luton, Bedfordshire. This is a 50:50 consulting and surgery role. We are looking for a part-time Vet to join our team; we are open to discussing different shift patterns, with hours totaling 24 hours per week. There is a share in the Saturday morning rota, currently 1 in 3. We only open 8:30am-12:00pm on Saturdays, with no Sundays, Bank Holidays, and no OOHs, allowing for a great work-life balance! We are a busy small animal town practice with a progressive attitude, taking pride in the high standards of care we provide. Our nursing team, led by our Head Nurse, Emily, focuses on pain management and local anaesthesia techniques. We have invested in dental x-ray and a new dental suite, alongside digital x-ray, ultrasound, tonopen, multiparameter monitoring equipment, blood haematology and biochemistry, bair huggers, and blood pressure machines. We are building our clinical team and have the potential and facilities to become a 3 Vet practice. Our motivated nursing team consists of 2 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 2 VCAs, providing high levels of support and confidence in schedule 3 procedures and consulting. We also have a full reception team and practice manager to ensure excellent client care.
