A vacancy has arisen for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon who is looking to join our busy, but friendly team at Rosehill Vets, based in Plymouth. Our focus at Rosehill is to concentrate on clinical excellence and client care, as opposed to being target driven. The role involves a variety of cases, with an equal share of surgery and consultations. We encourage continuity of care, from first consult through to surgery, with an aim to deliver the very best outcomes to our clients and their pets. We are flexible in our offer and aim to achieve a great work-life balance for all our employees. The practice opening hours are 8:30am to 7pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings 9am to 2pm. We are flexible in our offer, we do need to ensure that these hours are covered on a rota basis between our vets. Saturday requirement is 1:4 with sole charge on Saturdays only. There are no out of hours as this is covered by a local veterinary hospital. We offer a very competitive salary of up to £65,000, depending on experience. About Us

We are an established practice located in the heart of Plymouth, with a longstanding client base. Our practice is bright and modern, having recently undergone a complete refurbishment of all clinical and reception areas. Our facilities are well equipped including theatre, large prep room with 2 tables, X-ray and ultrasound room and separate dental room with up to date dental X-ray and very efficient new CR7 processor. We continue to invest in equipment and modern working practices. You will be supported by 5 experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Animal Nursing Assistants and a Student Veterinary Nurse and an efficient reception team. Rosehill Vets is RCVS Practice Standards accredited to Small Animal General Practice. About You

We are looking to recruit a friendly qualified Veterinary Surgeon, preferably with recent experience in a small animal practice. Most importantly, someone who is confident in managing medicine cases and competent in managing a busy daily surgical load. Because our people matter
