About the Practice This 6-vet independent small animal practice prides itself on providing high-quality care for its loyal client base. Key features of the practice include: RCVS Accreditation

and a nurse training centre with skilled, home-grown nurses. Comprehensive Nursing Support

for inpatients, surgical cases, and clinics (e.g., post-op checks, weight clinics, puppy/kitten clinics). Excellent Referral Support

and visiting surgical specialists. Modern Facilities:

In-house lab testing, dental x-ray, and up-to-date ultrasound equipment. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, case continuity, and client relationships, this is an ideal environment for vets at any stage of their career. The Role This position is perfect for a veterinary surgeon who thrives in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key details include: Hours:

Full-time preferred, but part-time or job-share options will be considered. Consults:

15-minute consultations as standard. Operating Days:

One dedicated operating day per week, with opportunities to operate on other days. Rota:

One day off per week. On-call rota:

1 in 5, with emergencies covered by an out-of-hours provider after 9 pm weekdays and after 5 pm on Saturdays. Sunday morning clinic required on your on-call weekend.

What They’re Looking For The practice is seeking a motivated and communicative veterinary surgeon to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will: Have a passion for building relationships with clients and their pets. Be experienced and confident, though support and mentoring are available for less experienced colleagues. Bring or be willing to develop particular interests (e.g., imaging, orthopaedics). Work across both practice locations, depending on experience and confidence. What’s on Offer? Salary:
