Key responsibilities: 

  • Handle, examine, and treat a wide range of animal species
  • Consult with owners and carers to provide expert advice and guidance
  • Perform diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and blood samples
  • Perform surgical procedures and manage anaesthesia
  • Respond to emergency cases and provide timely treatment
