My client in Wiltshire has an opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them, working in both their Tier 3 hospital and 2 branches with plans for a CT scanner soon.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in routine small animal soft tissue surgeries and happy with their own medical workups. Flexibility with regard to hours can also be accommodated.
The practice is well equipped and includes, but is not limited to:
Digital x-ray
Ultrasound
Acupuncture
Orthopaedic (Soft tissue)
Laparoscopy
Working with a team of 14 vets, 10 RVNs, and an extensive support team. The Vet team contains 2 surgery certificate holders, 2 Advanced practitioners, 1 medicine certificate holder, and others studying. Other interests include dentistry, cardiology, wildlife conservation, oncology, pain management, rehabilitation, and behaviour.
The rota is based around 4 days a week (38 hours) for full-time vets, with some weekend days on a balanced rota. You would work both in the hospital and branches, and the salary is dependent on experience. There will be no OOH as this is managed by their own night team.
