Calling all Veterinary Surgeons! Purovets is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-respected small animal practice in the beautiful county of Shropshire.
Located in a charming market town, our client's practice has recently undergone a comprehensive refurbishment. They are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full-time basis. You will have the chance to work alongside two experienced vets and a supportive team of five nurses and reception staff.
This custom-built practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a CT scanner, Digital X-ray, an In-house laboratory, ECG, MRI scanner, and separate cat and dog wards, among other advanced equipment.
The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered and have experience working effectively as part of a team. You should be able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills and have experience in fostering a progressive clinical culture. While no specific interests or certificates are required, our client is prepared to support additional qualifications if you wish to pursue them.

The Rota: • Full time role - 4 day week • 1:6 full weekends • 15 minute appointments
The Benefits: • Excellent salary from £55,000 to £60,000 DOE • Private Medical Insurance • Life Assurance 3 x salary • 5 weeks' annual leave plus Bank Holidays, rising to 6 weeks with length of service • An additional Day for You', a paid day's leave for you to use as you wish • Clinical CPD: £1,500 per year plus 3 days' paid leave • Internal CPD • Funded certificate opportunities • VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid • Sabbatical based on length of service • Cycle to Work scheme • Staff Discount • Support for Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa and relocation support
