Our client is a well-established practice in the stunning seaside town of Whitby, North Yorkshire. With an amazing coastline with many pocket pockets of small and large beaches and rolling countryside hills this is a great place to live if you are an outdoor enthusiast. They are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their welcoming team on a full time basis.
This RCVS accredited purpose built practice is well-equipped with great facilities including dental radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, ECG and much more. The practice recently had an extension in 2020.
You will be joining a wonderful team comprising of 3 Vets who have a wealth of knowledge in small, large and equine. They are also a nurse training practice and have a friendly team of nurses, students and receptionists.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to gain experience and exposure to a variety of cases with the added benefit of senior support.
The Rota: •
Full time - 4 day week •
1 night per week on-call (with on-call nurse) •
1:4 weekends on-call (with on-call nurse)
The Benefits: •
Salary from £36,000 - £60,000 DOE •
5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays •
Paid birthday leave •
Accrue 1 day of holiday per year for every year (up to 5 years) •
RCVS, BSAVA, BVA and VDS fees paid •
One other membership paid •
CPD is unlimited (within reason to benefit both the Vet and the practice)
