Rae Bean and Partners welcomes an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to our thriving small animal first opinion clinic located in the picturesque Boroughbridge, near York. Flexibility that works for you: Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours truly tips the scale on your work-life balance. We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career, and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance. A typical full-time role would involve working 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1:3 Saturday morning (09:00 – 13:00). No out of hours or on-call required. We’re keen to support part-time applications as well. About Us

Situated in the charming town of Boroughbridge, adjacent to the A1M in North Yorkshire and on the banks of the River Ure, we offer a beautiful work environment just minutes away from junctions 48 & 49. Established for over 100 years, our practice combines a rich history with modern veterinary excellence. We collaborate with Swift referrals and benefit from IVC Evidensia support, including Vetlexicon available in practice. We’re equipped with 3 consult rooms, an in-house fully equipped laboratory with IDEXX, haematology, biochemistry & urinalysis capabilities, CR X-Ray machine, a new Ultrasound machine, dental machine, oxygen concentrator, and a multi-parameter anaesthesia monitoring machine. Our excellent team is composed of 3 Vets, 3 RVNs, and a dedicated support team of 8. Our Clinical Director is currently working towards her Cert AVP. Here’s what the team have to say
