Job Description

Our busy small animal practice based in Redhill is looking for an enthusiastic and professional RVN to join our supportive team. About us: We are a happy, busy practice offering clients a very high standard of care whilst maintaining a compassionate approach to our work. The practice has plentiful free onsite parking and is purpose-built with all the usual 'mod-cons' including digital X-ray, ultrasound, Doppler, ECG, and pulse oximeter. Redhill has the advantage of excellent transport links (road/air/rail), being just 20 minutes drive and 15 minutes direct train to Gatwick airport and 30 minutes from London by train. It is also surrounded by the natural beauty of the North Downs with many of the old, flooded quarries in the area offering excellent bird-watching. Our supportive team consists of 5 vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 3 VCAs, a dedicated reception team, and a Practice Manager. About you: You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard of care for patients and clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You'll have great communication and organization skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. The key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. A strong level of general nursing is required, and above all else, you will be passionate and dedicated to providing an outstanding service for our clients and their animals. Our nurses are encouraged to do schedule 3 tasks, and experience of clinical coaching would also be an advantage but is not essential. About the role: This is a full or part-time position, full-time averaging 40 hours per week and including a 4-day week rota allowing everyone to enjoy an excellent work/life balance. 1 in 4 weekends are included in the rota. Benefits: By joining us, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care. We offer a supportive and friendly working environment together with career development opportunities and an excellent package and benefits that includes: Salary depending on experience from £31,000 DOE Contributory pension scheme Exclusive company discounts and rewards - including 20% off at Pets at Home, The Groom Room, and the Vet Group. Generous CPD allowance 28 days annual leave including bank holidays Paid memberships Pastoral care, emotional well-being, and support No OOH or overnight inpatient checks If you would like to join our winning team and you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service, then we would love to hear from you!
