VICE PRESIDENT, DATA ETHICS

to join our

ENTERPRISE DATA MANAGEMENT

team. This role is located in

MANCHESTER (UNITED KINGDOM) - HYBRID. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Help develop and implement a formal data ethics framework for BNY Mellon, including policy, controls, assessment methodology, operating model, and tooling. Drive the adoption of the data ethics methodology and tooling, with appropriate checks and monitoring across business and technology teams. Provide subject matter expertise to data science teams and business/technology change initiatives to assess and mitigate data ethics risks. Develop and deliver data ethics training and awareness initiatives. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Technically proficient data professional with relevant experience in data ethics, data governance, data privacy, and/or data risk/compliance. Working knowledge of data ethics principles, industry standards, legal/regulatory requirements, and supporting tools. An execution-focused and results-oriented individual who collaborates well with others, has strong communication skills, can manage multiple priorities, and drive change effectively.
