Job Summary:
The primary goal of the Vice President, Global Development is to grow brand market share outside of the United States for all Realogy brands. The Vice President will identify, cultivate, manage, and track new international franchise opportunities in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, cultivate, manage, and track new franchise opportunities.
Meet/exceed annual quota targets through franchise conversions and new development.
Carry franchise sales through the affiliation process, conducting appropriate due diligence, negotiations, etc.
Work with high-level management team members to present opportunities and negotiate basic terms and conditions leading to the signing of a letter of intent.
Work with in-house attorneys as well as potential franchise’s attorney to successfully negotiate the franchise agreement.
Partner with brand and servicing team to facilitate a successful discovery of the Realogy brands and value propositions.
Ability to work directly with high net worth affiliates, C level individuals, the foreign press, political and governmental officials.
Work closely with franchise operators or existing affiliates to understand business models from master franchise to direct franchise brokerage.
Create and work on business plans to achieve growth goals by identifying, advancing, and closing deals.
Continuously work on networking, lead generation, prospecting activities. Virtual prospecting is critical for the role.
Actively participate and represent Realogy and brands in industry events, live or virtual.
Execution and conversion of the franchise application process – review due diligence, legal documents, budgets, and coordinate the timely movement of documents to the Senior Vice President for corporate processing and approvals.
Coordinate and lead primary meetings and discussions continuously throughout the Business Development process.
Responsible for application timeline and expense budget maintenance as well as current status analysis and reports regarding various pipelines.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or 7 years experience in a consultative sales environment.
5 years consultative sales experience.
Multi-lingual, Multi-cultural preferred.
Extensive experience in a cold-calling environment.
Proven success in meeting/exceeding monthly/quarterly and annual growth targets.
Numerical aptitude.
Superb time management skills and ability to multi-task under high pressure and time-sensitive environment.
Ability to communicate effectively, to motivate, convince, and influence people to reach goals.
Strong negotiation, problem solving, territory management, and interpersonal skills required.
Advanced knowledge of the sales process, i.e., transactions, legal documents, sales, and growth models.
Advanced organizational skills and computer skills, i.e., Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Working knowledge of complex real estate operations and their budgets.
Stellar presentation skills.
Approximately 75% travel. Business has been changing since the pandemic and agility is key for successful performance; therefore, a hybrid model with strong virtual selling skills is expected.
Must live in the sales territory responsible for selling in.
Real Estate and/or franchise sales experience a plus.
Demonstrated ability to meet desired objectives with minimal to no supervision.
