The Vice President and Managing Director will serve as a champion for Europe within our company, driving sales and net income goals for the region. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans, leading a high-performing management team, and fostering relationships with existing and new customers and partners in Europe. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Global Hops Business Unit Director to drive sales growth in Europe. Oversee the delivery of the profit and loss (P&L) in the region by coordinating direct resources and influencing global organization functions such as sales, marketing, customer experience, business unit leadership, R&D, human resources, manufacturing, procurement, finance, and information services. Enhance the quality and consistency of the Opportunities Pipeline in partnership with the European Sales Director to achieve growth objectives outlined in the Business Plan. Develop and execute a 3-year European plan and longer-term (10-year) outlook for growth and profitability, aiming to position our company as a top 3 player in our specialty spaces. Work closely with the Vice President of Human Resources to ensure employment law compliance, recruitment strategies, and adherence to local business laws and company policies. Guarantee the accuracy and integrity of the financial performance of the region in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, conducting financial analyses, budgeting, and P&L oversight. Collect, analyze, and report market trends, competitive activity, market opportunities, and sales performance data. Ensure all personnel reporting to this position complete initial and annual training related to food safety. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of business management, corporate business development, or marketing experience. Experience working with savory food producers and applications. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint. Comfortable using CRM systems like Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite. Desired Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent degree. Professional training, previous experience, and ongoing education in marketing, sales, organizational development, and strategy preferred. Competency with Power BI. Key Skills and Abilities:
