Salary negotiable according to experience We have a permanent vacancy for a Yard Worker, Forklift Driver & Relief Transit Driver to join our team at the Chepstow branch. The successful individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, picking orders, loading/unloading building materials, and delivering materials to the local and surrounding area. Key Responsibilities
Picking orders, loading and unloading and related paperwork. General warehouse duties and stock management. Customer service – dealing with customers in person. Driving forklift at the branch. Making local deliveries on the transit. Essential Skills & Experience
Clean driving licence (Class B) and at least 2 years driving experience. A good understanding of metric and imperial measurements and basic mental arithmetic. Proven teamwork skills. Naturally tidy and organised. Willingness to engage with customers and provide good customer service. Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised once trained. Reliable, industrious, adaptable and quick to grasp new concepts. Manual handling up to 25kg. Good knowledge of building materials and their usage. Counterbalance forklift license.
