THIS ROLE IS AVAILABLE AS TERM-TIME ONLY OR ALL YEAR ROUND Location: Fallowfield, Manchester Job Types: Permanent Contract Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am until 9.00am and/ or just 3.00pm until 6.00pm during the Term. Holiday club hours may differ and will be on a Rota between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 (Optional) Salary: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour Benefits: Company pension Uniform provided Free parking On-site parking Free Childcare Onsite gym facilities Annual pay review in line with performance management Purpose of Role Our client is recruiting two Level 3 qualified playworkers to be an integral part of their childcare team in their out of school club at Cheadle, Bradshaw Hall Primary School (SK8 6AN) providing wrap around care on a day-to-day basis. The role will involve engaging children aged 3-11 and providing a high-level customer service to children, parents and carers. Key Responsibilities To plan, deliver and evaluate sessions and activities for children aged 3-11 To work collaboratively with the Out of School Club Manager and colleagues to provide a high level of customer service to children, parents and carers Attend weekly meetings where required and effectively contribute in order to share ideas and provide the best possible experience for the children To be committed to safeguarding children, following all Company policies and procedures to keep children safe. To mentor and support playworkers in the setting Education, Qualifications and Training Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare Paediatric First Aid Trained (or willing to attend training before appointment) Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification (or willing to attend training before appointment) Designated Safeguarding Lead Qualification (or willing to attend training before appointment) Knowledge and Experience Experience of leading and supervising Experience of working with children aged 3-11 Knowledge of Safeguarding Committed to CPD and further training in order to increase knowledge
