Wind Tunnel Engineering Deputy Team Leader . In this role, you will ensure that the wind tunnel model and associated systems deliver class leading levels of repeatability, operational scope, accuracy, reliability, and efficiency (prioritised in that order). Supporting the Aerodynamics WT Engineering Manager, this role will assist with the day-to-day running of the Wind Tunnel Engineering group and assist in any relevant cross-group activities. The role will heavily focus on leading the mechanical design activities within the team. Work closely with the Principal Experimental Aerodynamicist and other key stakeholders to ensure the ‘Quality of Experiment’ is class leading. Specifically ensure that from a WT Engineering standpoint, the Department is satisfactorily prepared for each wind tunnel session.
