In this role, a typical day will include: Gaining sales and market share across Alcon’s digital visualization, microscopy and diagnostic portfolio across your assigned Territory. Proactive collaboration with AMs, SEMs and other sales specialist roles: identifying potential targets and new customers. Being the key end-to-end specialist contact for visualization and diagnostic systems. Surgical Visualization and diagnostic equipment promotion, demoing and training to HCPs in the OR (Operating Room) and Clinic. Driving equipment penetration and upgrades according to the account plan in SalesForce. Ensuring high pull-through of IOLs & consumables. Identifying visualization and diagnostic opportunities and creating leads for Cataract and Vit Equipment. Reporting competitive intelligence. Consistently acting in accordance with SOPs and medical device regulatory environment. What you’ll bring to Alcon: Sales experience in an operating theatre setting working with capital equipment – essential. Microscopy and/or Audiovisuals and diagnostic experience - preferred. Experience working within the NHS & Private sector, networking and relationship building with both Clinical & Non-Clinical KOLs – essential. Cross functional and matrix style working, ability to work as part of a team and collaborate to achieve individual and team targets through lead generation and sharing best practice. We require individuals with a proactive hunter mindset, self-motivation, and the ability to take ownership of their territory as if it were their own business.
