To fully support the end-user on Vision Systems through troubleshooting and continuous improvement both through remote working and on-site work if necessary, improving high level productivity within Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Medical Device, FMCG and Food Sectors. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Provide front line technical support on Vision Systems (Project a positive and professional manner and attitude at all times) Provide pro-active solutions for improved productivity (Energetic, dynamic and positive approach to challenging situations) Be exposed to the opportunity of algorithm development and improvement Ensure Health, safety and welfare is a priority at all times Electrical & Mechanical (Mechatronic) fault finding Have an understanding of software fault diagnostics Engaged to fulfil Customer satisfaction Liaise with After Sales, Service manager and Technical on all issues and work progress Comply with and monitor Health and Safety requirements to eliminate or reduce risks. Keep up to date with the advances of technology through personal development. Provide full technical support in-house by responding to issues over the telephone, email or online maintaining a detailed report of the requests and processes. Carry out in depth maintenance processes on time with a “right first time” culture. Promote after sales services and identify areas of work using technical awareness on-site. Provide detailed written reports of all activities to your line manager Assist in providing up-to date Operational Documentation for the End User To fault find and rectify any running issues from initial request to resolution. Extensive travel worldwide at short notice (UK Passport and Full driving licence required) To be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritise workloads within the time frame given. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field Experience with vision algorithm software packages in a development environment Proven ability to develop applications using either C# or VB.NET Working knowledge of network architecture Strong background of Mathematics Previous experience in use of any of the following vision software packages: Teledyne Dalsa – Sherlock Vision System Software Cognex – Insight Vision Keyence – MVTec – Halcon Knowledge of a range of techniques within Optics and Lighting to help combat challenges in the inspection process Skills in Linear Algebra, Pythagoras and Statistical Analysis Relationship and Reporting Line

Reports to Technical Team Working relationships with: All customers, Sales, Projects, IT, Controls, Electricians, Mechanical and Electrical Design Team, Stores, Production Team Apply now
