A year-round calendar of seasonal events, cricket matches, and stunning views and walks ensures a constant flow of visitors of all ages enjoying the beautiful ambiance. Ascott Estate is a 4,400-acre rural country Estate centered in Wing, Buckinghamshire. The House and Gardens are open to the public between March and September and are a popular local attraction with over 50,000 visitors enjoying the magnificent house and gardens each year. Primary purpose You will work primarily within our visitor entry area to provide a warm welcome to all our visitors and to drive sales of our retail, events, and experiences products. The role will cover our visitor information kiosk and our visitor car park to ensure the smooth operation of both areas. The role will also involve working as part of our popular visitor events to assist visitors in making the most of their day. Ensuring high levels of visitor satisfaction through excellent sales service. Day to day working within our visitor entry kiosk to welcome visitors to the Estate, checking bookings and answering visitor queries. Assisting visitors with bookings on arrival and providing advice and recommendations for bookings. Processing visitor payments at the till point for admission tickets, experiences and events tickets, and retail products. Upselling events and experiences tickets and retail products based on calendar of promotions. Selling NT memberships and ensuring paperwork is correctly processed following sale. Addressing visitor complaints and queries. Assisting visitors with finding spaces in the car park during busy periods, notably assisting visitors with additional needs in locating accessible parking. Assisting in the delivery of events e.g. handing out trail guides and prizes, assisting visitors with activities, etc., and stewarding individual events e.g. theatre. Assisting with the build and derig of events where required. Cleaning and rearranging the kiosk area at the end of each day. What we are looking for A flexible, customer focused approach, with high standards of customer service. Excellent people skills, enabling strong relationships to be built and maintained, both externally and internally. Proven working experience in a retail or sales environment or similar. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices. Job Types:
