1 – 35 per week About us: We are the Ascott Estate, a 16th century former hunting box filled with exquisite art and surrounded by extensive gardens, woods, a cricket ground, tearoom, and other properties. A year-round calendar of seasonal events, cricket matches, and stunning views and walks ensures a constant flow of visitors of all ages enjoying the beautiful ambiance. Ascott Estate is a 4,400-acre rural country Estate centered in Wing, Buckinghamshire. The House and Gardens are open to the public between March and September and are a popular local attraction with over 50,000 visitors enjoying the magnificent house and gardens each year. In particular: Oversee daily site operations to ensure excellent visitor experiences and retail or F&B offers, safety, and efficient performance, aiming to meet financial and operational targets. Manage visitor areas during opening hours, ensuring functionality, cleanliness, and safety, including opening and closing procedures. Act as the daily point of contact for the Visitor Attraction team. Manage retail or F&B stock in collaboration with the Visitor Experience and Events Manager, including conducting stock takes and placing orders. Contribute to financial targets by promoting and cross-selling Ascott’s offer. Assist in the planning and delivery of public events, private hires, and special activities. Essential Requirements: Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a visitor attraction, museum, or heritage site. Basic understanding of health and safety procedures. Customer service focused. Experience in stock administration, such as sales and supporting stock takes. Ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
