visitor attraction. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a world class visitor experience for all of our customers which include local communities, tourists, boaters, groups and schools. Visitor expectations will be exceeded wherever possible to increase dwell time, repeat visits and the generation of new audiences. As Duty Manager you will ensure that the teams on shift are fully briefed, highly motivated and well trained to deliver exceptional service levels. This post will help to support the day to day running of the site in particular the cafe and shop. As well as leading the day to day operations front of house, this role line manages a team of staff and dedicated volunteers and will lead the creation of new volunteer roles, manage any recruitment, organise inductions and help to deliver training, particularly in catering and health and safety. This role is key in helping to generate income and profitability as well as working to deliver new business opportunities. As a museum, the site attracts visitors from all walks of life and we work with a range of local partners and communities. If you love working with people then this role is for you.
