Job Description We are recruiting a Visual Inspection Team Leader within our manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes. All work must be performed in accordance with current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practise) and local SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Attention to detail is critical for this role. Responsibilities: Providing leadership oversight to the new vaccine Visual Inspection (VI) team. Collaborate with Filling and warehouse teams and undertake scheduling and planning of VI activities to meet the department's delivery commitments. Follow SOP and Batch paperwork instructions for completion of job tasks. Complete, review and submit all necessary production protocols and batch manufacturing instructions. Complete SAP transactions, data entries and bookings (training will be provided). Raise process deviations and lead investigations. Review logbooks and perform equipment inspections. Undertake team Tier 1 meetings and escalate as required. Collect and review reject data and perform data analytics. Participate in Safety assessments for COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health), Risk assessments, or Manual handling (Training will be provided). Be flexible to business needs, train and work in other areas as required. Maintain safe working practices. Support cleaning requirements in the area. Assist in all audits. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required GCSE/ A level (or equivalent), with an interest in a scientific field. Must have experience of leading a team, supervising weekly and monthly workloads, and being accountable for the team’s performance. Experience in a manufacturing environment. GMP experience in a production environment is desirable. Demonstrate ability to work with other departments such as Quality, Engineering, etc. Become the subject matter expert in one's own area. Understanding of safety systems, i.e., COSHH, Risk assessments, Manual handling, etc. Good level of written and spoken English. Current Employees apply
