JOB MISSION:

The Global Visual Merchandising Manager for Key Accounts will oversee and conceptualize brand driving visual merchandising strategies for the in-store presentation in JD Sports. This role is responsible for the visual merchandising strategic direction; space management, fixture development, and working within the Go to Market process to provide sell-in and sell-thru guidelines for door clusters. This position sits in the DTC organization and reports into Global Visual Merchandising. The job requirements will also consist of supporting a cross-functional approach, inclusive of commercial leads, sales, product, merchandising, and global marketing.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop seasonal Visual Merchandising strategies and presentation direction for JD Sports, working alongside merchandising and marketing leads. Create and conceptualize compelling visual merchandising and styling techniques to promote, enhance, and elevate the New Balance product stories. Possess an understanding of space planning, fixture development, visual merchandising standards, and the ability to conceptualize a holistic brand experience inclusive of VM and in-store marketing. Create VM communications and seasonal toolkits. This includes seasonal brand driving Visual Merchandising guidelines and styling, VM/brand standards, ongoing VM feedback, and other departmental communications. Partner with the JD Corporate retail team on space management and in-store presentation strategies as well as concepting new fixture designs and retrofits. Ongoing partnership with the NB JD account team, inclusive of sales, marketing, and merchandising cross-functional team members as well as external vendors. Assist in additional marketing, visual merchandising, styling projects, and brand-led meetings on an as-needed basis. Experience working with multiple regions and cultures. Strong sense of how fixture concepting, design, and execution works. REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

Visual merchandising management experience; preferably in a contemporary or athletic brand environment. Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, IWD). Bachelor's or equivalent experience in fashion/styling, visual merchandising, or retail marketing/management. Excellent time management, multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills. A self-starter, able to work independently as well as with a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume, high visibility environment.
