Our radio station can be accessed through mobile apps and the internet, allowing us to reach a diverse audience and amplify the voices of our community. Position Overview:

TAG Community Radio is seeking a passionate and skilled Volunteer Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance the visibility and engagement of TAG Community Radio across various social media platforms. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Strategy:

Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with TAG Community Radio's goals to increase awareness, engagement, and listenership. Content Creation:

Create engaging and relevant content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to share the mission, programs, and events of TAG Community Radio. Platform Management:

Manage and monitor social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, ensuring consistent and timely updates. Community Engagement:

Foster community interaction by responding to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms. Encourage discussions, feedback, and participation. Promotion of Programs and Events:

Collaborate with the programming team to promote radio programs, events, and initiatives through social media channels. Analytics and Reporting:

Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Stay Informed:

Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices. Explore and suggest new platforms or features that could benefit TAG Community Radio. Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing is preferred. Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Graphic design skills and proficiency in content creation tools. Familiarity with analytics tools to measure and report on the performance of social media efforts. Passion for community engagement and the mission of TAG Community Radio. This is a volunteer position, and the time commitment is flexible. However, a commitment of at least 5 - 10 hours per week is desired.
