VP – Consumer & Retail M&A

In this capacity you will work closely wirh a senior MD and oversee and manage deal execution. You willÂalso be heavily involved in client development and client management.  The successful candidate will have accrued strong execution expertise across the Consumer, Retail, Food & BeverageÂspace.  Responsibilities will centre on the following: â?¢ Leading deal execution and working with seniorsÂto take a lead role in supporting the creation ofÂfurther business opportiunity â?¢ Creating and preparing client presentations in support of new business development and transaction execution â?¢ Overseeing the preparation of confidential memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations â?¢ Building relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and prospective clients â?¢ Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to Associates and Analysts  Qualifications and requirements:  â?¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills â?¢ Requisite VP level M&A deal experience, in particular strong execution experience on end to end deals (closed deal experience) â?¢ Candidates with a demonstrable relevant sector expertise are strongly preferred â?¢ Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring Analysts and Associates â?¢ Ability to grow our business and act entrepreneurially â?¢ Management skills in supervising and training staff Â
