Job Description
This role oversees a Loan Closing team, acting as Facility Agent, Security Trustee, and Lender. It involves managing the pipeline of loan deals through to closing, ensuring that staff review loan agreements thoroughly and that each deal can be serviced with clear, documented processes and controls in place. Manage and guide the Facility Onboarding team for accurate, timely loan facility closings Oversee pipeline management, ensuring thorough loan agreement reviews to confirm serviceability as Agent, Security Trustee, and Lender. Direct the team in setting up deals in Loan IQ Coordinate timely handover of loan deals to transaction management and loan operations for servicing. Use expert loan and system knowledge to ensure correct facility capture and ongoing loan management. Act as the first escalation point for team and LMO staff Chair monthly meetings with Front Office sectors to review priorities, pipeline, and capacity. This is leading a team of 5 people so extensive experience in a Middle Office function, with a deep operational understanding of loan products and comprehensive knowledge of Agent roles, including Facility, Security Trustee, and Collateral. Experienced in facilitating and chairing calls with lenders, borrowers, and legal counsel in an Agent capacity.
