Waking Night Healthcare Support Worker vacancy waiting to be filled
Venn Group have been approached by a CQC registered provider and would like to introduce the following position available:
Position: Waking Night Healthcare Support Worker
Location: Leeds
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience
Length: 6-8 weeks initially
Hours: 38.5 hours p/week, Monday - Sunday
Key Responsibilities include:
To develop therapeutic relationships with young people experiencing eating disorders and work closely with their families and carers, communicating effectively to provide ongoing engagement.
To co-operate with all members of the residential team in ensuring a safe environment is maintained for the young people.
To assist in creating a safe, clean, and secure environment to the highest standards of health and safety for all young people, relatives, and colleagues.
To conduct audits, assessments, inventories, risk assessments, including Health & Safety audits and other administrative tasks required for the effective running of the service.
To develop care plans and review plans with young people, co-ordinate support, and take part in core groups with the MDT and young person on a regular basis.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have an enhanced DBS on the update service and previous experience working with vulnerable individuals with mental health challenges.
