We are looking for an experienced Test and Commissioning Manager to join us in our diverse and ever-expanding Hampshire-based business to help lead us through our next period of growth. BASIC SALARY:

Test and Commissioning Manager - Machinery, Manufacturing As the Test and Commissioning Manager, you will oversee, manage and drive the team, working collaboratively with departments directly affecting the Test and Commissioning areas, ensuring agreed objectives are met, continually striving for excellence and best practice. Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing and Technical Support, you will contribute to the implementation of manufacturing improvements managing and maintaining team objectives and KPIs. This will include: Maintaining constant communication with managers, staff, and other departments to ensure effective workings for the area of Test and Commissioning Actively encouraging the reporting of 'non-conformance' and 'near misses' for the area of responsibility and own the root cause analysis where applicable The ability to effectively delegate responsibilities whilst maintaining control of the area of Test and Commissioning Overseeing the planned monthly work in line with customer promised dates to improve accurate lead times for sales orders Continuously monitoring and improving the efficiency of the team PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Test and Commissioning Manager - Machinery / Manufacturing As you will be managing a team of 12, management experience within a manufacturing environment is essential to be a successful candidate for this role. Communication skills are also key, as although you will be based internally, you will require a good working relationship with the Geotechnical Consultant and Support Manager who deals with on-site installations and training. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree or demonstrable experience within a manufacturing environment Proven management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development A change agent who can challenge and drive process improvements Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes The ability to work effectively across departments engaging key stakeholders THE COMPANY: We have been at the forefront of designing computer-controlled systems to evaluate the mechanical properties of soil and rock for over 40 years and are highly regarded within the geotechnical and earthquake engineering design sector.
