We are looking for an enthusiastic and computer literate ward clerk, who will be part of a hardworking, busy but efficient team. They need to be able to work independently and also within a small group of ward clerks. Duties include working within our extremely busy SDEC Clinic and AMU Reception, assisting staff, patients, and relatives, and supporting clerical and administrative duties in the day-to-day running of AMU and our Same Day Emergency Care Clinic.
To be part of a hardworking and efficient multidisciplinary team, acting as an initial point of contact for patients, families, and external teams visiting the ward. Assist in answering telephone calls, liaising with patients and their families, keeping diaries up to date in SDEC Clinic, and maintaining up-to-date information on Trust systems while problem-solving.
