The post holder will hold responsibility for the ward team with support from the Matron and Senior Nurse. They will ensure that they lead and manage the ward so that safe, high quality, evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients whilst respecting and involving families and carers. The post holder will be the clinical expert and act as a professional resource to the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families. They will ensure adherence to Trust policies and procedures. The post holder will provide effective leadership and management by acting as a role model, having a clear vision, supporting the development of the team, whilst promoting a positive image of the clinical area. The post holder will be required to manage resources efficiently and effectively ensuring that high quality care is maintained. They will contribute to the delivery of the organisation's objectives and the Nursing Strategy working collaboratively with the Senior nursing teams and Divisional managers. About us
